Dramamine Original Formula Motion Sickness Relief prevents and treats nausea, vomiting and dizziness. The tablets come in a convenient safety travel vial for anytime motion sickness symptoms strike. Always bring Dramamine with you! You don't want to be caught in the air, on the water, or on the road without Dramamine. Depending on the cause, motion sickness is also referred to as airsickness, carsickness or seasickness. Here are some tips to help:

1. Whether on a cruise ship, a jetliner or a sailboat?the middle of the vessel tends to be the steadiest. Stay mid-boat at sea or reserve a seat over the wings when flying to avoid too many nauseating ups and downs.

2. If you know you are going on a rocky ocean-fishing adventure or helicopter tour that is likely to cause motion sickness, take Dramamine BEFORE boarding. Dramamine works best when taken as a precautionary measure. It also eases motion sickness after the fact, but why risk getting sick?

3. Take a turn at the wheel. Driving the car or small watercraft may distract you from feeling nauseous. Ask your friends if you can act as a captain. If you begin to feel motion sick and can?t drive, at least sit in the front seat. You?ll feel better if you can face the direction in which you?re headed and stare at a non-moving object.

4. Steer clear of fumes. Ferryboats, in particular, seem to chug out a lot of stinky exhaust that can make a seagoer go from slightly motion sick to all-out nauseated.

5. Toast your besties with a glass of bubbly ginger ale or stick to bottled water and focus on staying hydrated. Avoid alcohol, which can increase dehydration and nausea.

Not only is Dramamine the most trusted over-the-counter treatment for motion sickness, it is the #1 Pharmacist Recommended brand to both prevent and treat the condition.

Does the job. Takes care of dizziness and nausea.

I have vertigo every now and then because if sinus issues and I easy get nauseated due to migraines. Dramamine is my first go-to and 98% of the time it takes care of the job. Some people might get drowsy from it but I have not found it to be the case for me.

Best product ever!

Love the individual packaged tablets. It makes it so easy to slip into my purse. As a cancer patient who gets vertigo, these are my best friend some days. I cannot say enough about how well these work, how much I appreciate a product like this. I'm a mom, I have a job, I have a very understanding husband, without these some days I cannot get off the couch. They work so fast on nausea, and my dizziness!

#1 Product I've Tried for Motion Sickness

As a person who has suffered from motion sickness for as long as I can remember (I'm 20 now), I was dreading my 15.5 hour flight from the UK to China and my 12 hour flight from Japan to the U.S. I took Dramamine about 30 minutes before I boarded the plane (as it suggests on the instructions), and it worked well for the first 3-4 hours. I then kept taking it every 4-4.5 hours so I wouldn't get sick as a preventative measure. The only downsides about it is that it tastes VERY bitter, something that I couldn't get used to, and that it makes me sleepy (which I personally don't mind on long flights, but I thought I should mention it). Overall, I am extremely glad that I purchased this product because I would have been miserable had I gotten sick within the first 2 hours of my flights.

Greatly helps my Vertigo! A very detailed review.

Unfortunately, I have Severe Vertigo from time to time. When I have a Severe Vertigo Attack, I am so dizzy that it is very difficult to get out of bed because the whole room is spinning! So I heard about Dramamine Original (Dimenhydrinate 50mg).
After a few minutes of taking the Dramamine Original Tablet, the Dizziness and Vertigo lessened. The only thing was, it made me Drowsy and a tiny bit foggy, however, I was able to cook, wash clothes, however, I was too sleepy to drive.
After just two days of taking the Original Dramamine, I decided to try the Less Drowsy Dramamine (Meclizine Hci (25 Mg). I just took one tablet. When I took the Less Drowsy one, it worked almost as well as Original Dramamine and I later took 2 Less Drowsy tablets and all Dizziness was gone but I felt Drowsy, just about the same as I did on the Original Dramamine.
Because I once in a while, have such a Severe Vertigo, I personally discovered that the Original Dramamine works better for me for the first day or two, then I switch to Less Drowsy Dramamine (just one tablet), and this works so I can drive.
One more thing... Vertigo takes a while to get over. When I get a Vertigo Attack, it lasts from 2 to 4 weeks. **At first, I take the Original Dramamine, however, if I have to drive, I take just one Less Drowsy Dramamine and I do not become Drowsy.
