Dr. Dan's CortiBalm, 4.2g is specially formulated for all types of chapped lips. It contains 1 percent hydrocortisone that acts to reduce the inflammation associated with chapped lips. The hydrocortisone in Dr. Dan's lip balm works to reduce the irritation produced by some of the ingredients in other lip balms. If your lips are chapped due to weather, cosmetics, sunburn or medications, the ingredients in ordinary lip balms may irritate them and prevent healing. After years of experimentation, Dr. Dan developed CortiBalm for his patients with chapped lips. The lip balm with hydrocortisone is a mild hypoallergenic blend of beeswax, petroleum jelly and mineral oil.
